Russo aims to exceed the expectations of our customers. To help you get the best from your purchase, please follow these simple guidelines.

Fitting and Care Tips:

  • To assess comfort and suitability, we would advise you to try on a carpeted surface before wearing them outside for the first time and before deciding your purchase. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on shoes unless they are in a re-saleable condition.

  • It is better to try your footwear on when your feet are not tired or hot.

  • Slight marks and shade variations are the natural features of leather and should not be mistaken as a fault.

  • The heel tips are a replaceable component. Do not allow them to wear down, as this can damage the heel shaft. You can replace the tips at your local shoe repair shop.

  • Pointed styles can wear more quickly at the toe piece, the toe tips should be replaced when they begin to look worn. For people who may not be used to wearing pointed styles, you need to take extra care, as it can be problematic by ‘scuffing’ the toe without realising.

  • Treat your new footwear with the appropriate protector. However, please note that these products cannot guarantee total protection form staining or water. Please view our shoe care range.

  • Leather footwear needs regular polishing.

  • Due to the delicate nature of some of our styles, please take extra care when wearing them. Trims such as diamantes, beads and bows may come loose during wear. If this happens to you please contact us and we will do our best to obtain you a replacement trim.

  • Patent leather shoes are best maintained with a suitable product. We recommend Lac Patent (which you can purchase online from us) which is suitable for both leather and pvc patent finishes, it cleans, preserves and shines. Maintains a supple finish and prevents cracking.

Wet Weathers

  • All our shoes are Italian made and most will have a leather sole for extra comfort. Please note that if a leather sole on a pointed style shoe/boot is worn in the rain and becomes sodden, there is a tendency for the toe to peel away. This is not a fault and you can replace the toe tip with either a leather or rubber tip at your local shoe repair shop.
